Chic neck piece to expand the outdoor rug "Alaska IV"
The "Alaska IV" neck piece has an ideal fit and keeps the horse''s neck warm thanks to the 100 g cotton lining. Like the outdoor rug, the neck part is windproof, waterproof and breathable (4000 mm water column, breathability 3000g / sqm). To prevent slipping, two velcro fasteners are attached to the neck and two on the underside of the neck.
A neck piece is used in the colder months when not only the horse''s body but also the neck should be protected from the cold and wet. This is especially the case with sheared horses. The neck of the horse is very sensitive and, like the rest of the body, should be protected from the cold and wet. Especially in the rain, a neck piece can prevent water from entering the ceiling at the neck.

Material and Care
Washing Instruction:
Please follow the care label instructions. Before each wash, close all hook-and-loop fasteners and place in a sturdy wash bag. This prevents the metal fittings from hitting the drum during the wash cycle, breaking open, or rusting more quickly. Always wash turnout rugs with a detergent specifically made for outdoor rugs to minimise damage to the fabric’s lamination. Wash at 30°C on a gentle or delicate cycle. Additional waterproofing is not necessary, as the waterproofing comes from the fabric’s inner lamination, and reproofing treatments can damage this layer. Kavalkade recommends having the neck professionally cleaned.
