Product description
Sweet iron is a special steel that oxidises on contact with air and moisture. Sweet iron develops a sweet-tasting surface that is perceived as pleasant by horses. It promotes saliva production, supports natural chewing activity and can significantly improve acceptance of the bit, particularly popular with sensitive or young horses. The rings are made of stainless steel.
A double-jointed loose ring snaffle is a versatile bit commonly used for everyday training. The two joints allow the mouthpiece to adapt well to the shape of the horse’s mouth and distribute pressure more evenly over the tongue and bars.
The loose rings provide mobility in the bit and can encourage chewing activity, supporting a steady contact and allowing for more refined rein aids.
Features:
- Sweet iron promotes salivation and chewing activity
- Double-jointed for soft pressure distribution
- Loose rings support mobility and refined aids
