Product description

TURNADO bits represent a new generation of snaffles. The joint is angled forward by 45° to ensure even pressure distribution and to avoid pressure on the palate. In conventional single-jointed bits, the two bit arms are manufactured with slight differences in length, which results in uneven pressure being applied to each side. Using a TURNADO bit solves this problem of unequal pressure distribution. It is also suitable for horses with mild tongue issues. The rotation of the mouthpiece is marked by a slightly roughened (sandblasted) surface in the central area of the bit. This TURNADO 3-ring bit provides consistent influence on the tongue and the poll. If your horse tends to be very forward-going, the 3-ring bit can be an ideal choice. The stronger action makes it especially suitable for horses that are difficult to regulate and tend to evade the contact by raising their head. Due to its pronounced action, this bit is particularly recommended for riders with sensitive hands. The rider can choose to ride with one or two pairs of reins depending on the desired effect.
